White Invitation began in 2022 when our team met to decide on a genre and opened the floor for concept submissions. After reviewing ideas, Devon, Jason, and I narrowed them down to six. Then, a group of us—Adam, Jacob, Tackett, Devon, and I—worked to refine each concept, writing loglines, defining time periods, locations, casting, and influences. Once we had everything outlined, we sent them out to the entire staff for a vote, and White Invitation came out on top.

One of the biggest challenges, thrillers are tough to write—you have to be super careful about plot holes. Thankfully, Devon has a way of dissecting situations and ensuring everything makes sense, which helped us navigate the challenges and create a strong, cohesive story.

The most inspiring part for me was seeing this idea come to life. As a co-writer, actress, and teammate, I grew so much—not just in filmmaking, but in my own creative journey. It wasn’t always perfect, but I loved the final product and everything I learned along the way.
