Our Lifeblood
Strategy drives every move we make at Retrospec. Working hand-in-hand with marketing departments, business owners, advertising agencies, and other communication gurus; we have a long history of developing the right creative to reach the right audience. Creativity is key, however, reaching the end goal is even more important. We hold ourselves to a very high standard in the strategy and creative development space. This has led us to be a part of the success of many multi-million dollar companies and a handful of billion dollar companies.
At Retrospec our process is intentional and effective. We start with key questions about your project and its goals. What are you trying to create? Who are you trying to reach? What are you trying to sell? What emotions and actions would you like this to stimulate? Then after defining several key factors, we go to the drawing boards. Films for the big screen, commercials for television, episodic series for Netflix, and even short videos for Facebook all get the same process. Write, write, write! Our creative development process is very defined and strategic. We have meetings weekly with writers and key team members to keep the creativity flowing. These team members vary from editors and directors to designers and animators. This allows our creativity to shine from all angles in production. After concepts have been flushed, we put schedules and budgets on them for you to approve. Once final ideas have been green, lit it’s time to make movie magic. The steps of proper filmmaking are all important and we try not to skip a single note. Pre-Production, additional writing, casting, wardrobe design, set design, location scouting, shooting, editing, visual effects, color grading, motion graphics, and sound design all dance in the correct order to finish your project off perfectly.
